Industrial Metal Detectors
Industrial metal detectors are used in the food, pharmaceutical, mining, and manufacturing industries. They are divided into:
Conveyor metal detectors, gravity metal detectors, and tubular metal detectors.
Conveyor metal detectors are mounted on a conveyor belt so that the belt passes through the detector coil opening or under the conveyor belt.
Gravity metal detectors are used for bulk products such as grains, sugar, salt, and others.
Tubular metal detectors are used for liquid products, slow-flowing products, viscous products, sauces, and minced meat.
Conveyor Belt or Linked Belt

These detectors are specifically designed for the food industry and are supplied mounted on a conveyor belt or linked belt, allowing for quick and easy integration into production or packaging lines. Vistus Metal Detectors
Vistus® metal detectors are the modern standard in metal detection. The "Learn" function ensures rapid adaptation to new product batches. They are ideal for detecting stainless steel and ferrous metals. Available configurations include: conveyor, tube (vertical/gravity) and horizontal; conveyor with remote terminal (up to 300 meters); and tube with remote terminal (up to 300 meters). Specifically designed for the pharmaceutical and food industries.
Uses of Metal Detectors
Metal detectors can be used in various industries, such as food and pharmaceuticals. Whether it's inspecting raw materials in pipeline systems or testing finished products with rectangular aperture metal detectors, each system must be adapted to the production process. Vistus metal detectors are available in a variety of models: rectangular aperture metal detectors ranging from a few centimeters to several meters in length, and circular aperture search coils with a miniaturized metal-free zone for standard applications or individual discs.
An optional miniature metal-free zone is available in the Vistus system. This technology supports metal detectors with circular and rectangular apertures. This offers several advantages, including reduced installation space. For example, using a metal detector in a vertical packaging machine (VFP) system is ideal.
Fast and reliable – 200 products can be stored in memory. The Vistus system can automatically recognize the product and save all the necessary parameters, enabling quick and easy switching between products during production.
Simple and easy – A new operating concept with a 5.7-inch color touchscreen. Each user, from administrators and quality managers to maintenance technicians, service engineers, and operators, has their own specific operating system requirements. Vistus provides a dedicated dialog box for each user category, reducing the complexity of operating the metal detector in the production process. Each user login can be password protected.
