The Security Lite starter kit is a set of Z-Wave equipment that allows you to organize a basic security and online monitoring system for an apartment, house or office from a smartphone or tablet.
The Z-Wave kit includes: a Philio PSC01 controller, a Philio PST02-C door/window opening sensor, and a Philio PSP05-A magnetic IR motion sensor, which inform you of each trigger by sending a push notification to your mobile device.
How the kit works In this kit, the Z-Wave controller is the "brain center" of the connected sensor control system, it is installed in an apartment, house or office, connects to the Internet and controls all Z-Wave network equipment.
In case of activation of one of the sensors, the controller immediately informs the owner of the property about it. Z-Wave open/close sensor is installed indoors on the entrance, balcony or terrace door, window, hatch, etc.
The sensor is attached to double-sided tape or self-tapping screws and is powered by a battery that lasts up to 2 years. When the guarded object is opened, the sensor transmits information to the controller. The IR motion detector is installed on a vertical surface and detects movement in the protected sector at a distance of up to 12 m. The sensor is equipped with a battery (up to 2 years) and a convenient magnetic holder, which allows you to very easily and, at the same time, accurately position it on the protected area.
How the devices are controlled
Monitoring the status of sensors, as well as informing about their operation, occurs through a specialized software application developed for mobile devices running on Android or iOS. The corresponding application is downloaded free of charge from the Play Market or AppleStore and installed on a smartphone or tablet.
