Geologists from the University of Granada have come to the conclusion that gold has risen to the surface from a depth of more than 70 kilometers. Geologists noted that gold was most likely formed in the lower layers of the Earth's crust and was later squeezed to the surface.
At the same time, scientists noted that studies of the Earth's crust and mantle allow to conclude that there is insufficient study of the structure of the Earth, because the upper and lower layers of the mantle can still contain a large amount of gold, inaccessible to industrial Production.
Studies have touched on only a small part of the fields in South America, but it is possible that a large amount of gold may be contained in other known fields.
